Here's some more warm up data, this time with the EXIF data taken from the RAW output files.
I use EXIF Tool to extract the Canon meta-data text file from each image:
The plots below show some 5 and 10 minute frames, along with the EXIF data for each frame.
The correlation isnt 1:1 between the two temperature plots, but it's pretty close. I think the camera sensor might be on the circuit board rather than in the CMOS array because of the dip in the EXIF - I don't see how the sensor could do that and not have it be measured on the backside with the Hutech sensor.
I'd say the EXIF data is a pretty reliabile way to monitor the image temperature of each frame. I'm going to test this a couple of more times with other ambient temperatures and exposrue times, but I think I'll see generally the same result.
