I haven't been very active on the journal for some time but I feel I've made some good progress with my photography so wanted to post my latest image. I photographed the Sadr area in Cygnus last night and ended up with the image attached. It consists of 9 subs of 300 sec each using my Canon XSi Gary Honis modified and a Hutech V4 narrow band filter inserted into my Hyperstar lens attached to the 9.25 Celestron EdgeHD on the hypertuned CGEM. BYEOS for acquisition, PHD2 for guiding, DSS, PS CS2, Noise Ninja and Carboni Tools round out the software used. I use the old Astro-Physics 80mm f/11 refractor as a guide scope and SSAG for guiding.
