I went out at 19:30, the outside temp was 50 deg. I went right to Orion which was almost due south and observed M 42/43. They were very nice tonight with good color around the trapezium and the cloud of M 43 was a nice dark grey. The stars in the trapezium and next to the cone were nice and sharp. After that I went to Sigma, Zeta, Epsilon and Delta Orionis.  The binary star of Delta was very white.

From there I went to Canis Minor and checked out, Alpha, Beta, Eta, Gamma and Epsilon. After that it onto Gemini with Alpha, Beta, Sigma and Rho. Finally I went to Ursa Major and did Alpha and Beta.
