Pier Project - Mount Adapter

Just a quick update.  My step son sent me a photo of the steel mount adapter made from the wooden one we used to position the bolt cage into the concrete at the top of the sono tube.

I cant wait to get it, looks amazing.   Still needs the little vertical piece for the azimuth adjustment screws but that will have to wait till I have it on the pier and can figure out where it needs to go.  They even put my initials on it, lol.

Thanks for looking,

Jeff W.

OMG, That it classic. At first im thinking its just a tardis and the guy likes dr who. Then I start to think, `you dont think....` and sure enough, scroll down and theres a mount in there. wow.

Im not sure what im going to do through the winter. My first thought was leave the mount on the pier and put a garbage can over it and then tarps over that that are bungee`d around the base of the pier.

Not sure thats enough though. Still waiting to get the mount adapter, might pick that up this weekend. Anyway, thanks for the link, that was cool.

Wow John, this is really excellent. I can't wait to see the pics of the whole thing being done.

What are you going to do for walls? My friend Duncan did this:
