An Evening of Reprocessing
These pictures are some personal bests that I wanted to apply some new processing techniques to see if they improved the images. I think I like the results of these.

M31 - Andromeda Galaxy
Scope: William Optics MegRez 90mm @ f/5.5 w/WO-FLAT-III 0.8x Focal Reducer
Mount: Orion Sirius EQ-G with GoTo
Guiding:  Meade DSI Pro and PHD Guiding
Camera: Canon EOS 20D (unmodified)
Special Settings: None
ISO: 1600
Exposure: 60 minutes - 20 @ 180 seconds
Processing Software: Acquired in Nebulosity, Stacked in Deep Sky Stacker, Levels, Curves and
Noise Ninja in Photoshop

The original processes are all on that journal entry (08\27\08). They aren't even that radically different, it's just the I've gotten softer and less aggressive in my processing. The originals are clean and not clipped and look good, but I'm preferring my current method which is more "natural" looking to me and more pleasing to me.

M45 is my #1 object....It was all I could really practice on last winter,before getting a goto mount...
Sometimes I think that,come fall/winter,that is ALL I want to image....
Maybe you could just PM me a link to yr original M45...
